Fife Flyers defenceman Matt Nickerson received a match penalty for fighting in his side's home game with Cardiff Devils on Saturday 7th September 2013.
The penalty, which was timed at 18:37 in the first period, carries an automatic one-match ban.
Nickerson will miss Fife's game at Edinburgh today (Sunday 8th Sepetember 2013).
The penalty, as is mandatory, will also be reviewed by the Elite League's head of discipline.
