The 25-year-old Massachusetts native, who is 6ft 2in and 207lbs, comes highly recommended by Blaze assistant captain Adam Henrich having been team-mates in Germany for SC Riessersee last season.
After a four-year college career at Cornell University in the NCAA, Devin was invited to a training camp by American Hockey League side Binghamton Senators and played his first pro season with Elmira Jackals in the ECHL in 2011/12 before moving to Germany.
