EIHL Prediction for 09/10/13
Steelers v Stars
Steelers have won 5 and lost 5 of their last 10 games played in the EIHL. That's a 50% winning ratio which considering it's the Steelers is not great going at present. Steelers roster has in recent weeks been strengthened by the return of Chad Langlais & the signing of Nate DiCasmirro who played 7 season in the AHL. Steelers had more good news earlier this week with the expected return to the line up of top British player Robert Dowd. Steelers may now start to show the form that most fans expected of their top quality roster.
Stars great start to the 13/14 season continued at the weekend with two more wins in back to back games against the Hull Stingrays. Jeff Hutchins men are now sitting with a record of 9 wins in 11 games. Even with their good form though it's going to be a massive test for the Stars team traveling down to Sheffield to take on one of the EIHL best teams.
Prediction -- Steelers to win.. Steelers are at home with some big names returning to the roster. Stars are in good form but have a long road trip and will be facing a talented team. Should be a good game but the Stars two losses so far this season have come away from home against good Erhardt teams, so I'm going with a Steelers win.
