Dundee Stars' head coach, Jeff Hutchins, has signed 22 years old Canadian defenseman Francis Meilleur from East Coast Hockey League side the Las Vegas Wranglers.
Before turning professional in 2011, Meilleur was the top scoring defenseman of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League side Montreal Juniors with 53 points (8 goals and 45 assists), fifth among all QMJHL defensemen.
