Hull Stingrays sign Jeff Smith and Omar Pacha
From Hull Stingrays twitter feed.
Two physical bodies on the Defense for Hull Stingrays. Jeff Smith is a heavyweight stay at home D.man while Omar Pacha will also drop the gloves from time to time.
Rays are putting together a gritty looking team so far. But could still use a Ryan Hand type to enforce for them next season.

I like the signing of Pacha, but the Smith signing for me is so so.If we sign a young hungry physical stay at home D man then id be happy, but Smith looked to be going through the motions last year as it almost appeared he was just playing out time in his career. To be fair to him though he did reportly play injured for the majority of the year and by all accounts is a top team guy. But i would hope to see him more physical this year, and if he is our main heavyweight he needs to step up more.Pacha looks like he is a tougher version of Dulle, and should provide points and grit to the defence.
That said Cloutier does appear to be putting together another typically gritty team. With Smith,Campbell, Pacha and Chamberlain in the lineup the scottish teams will need to add more toughness if they want to pick up more results at the Hull arena next year...most times Rays played at home they won and this was largerly due to them out muscling there opponents.
