JEFF HUTCHINS insists losing Steven Chalmers a year ago fired him up to make sure Dundee Stars wouldn't be caught out the same way this summer. The Taysiders' player/coach celebrated a year in the post last week and is pleased with the way his rebuild is going so far. Hutchins already has ten names on the roster for the new campaign as he bids to help Stars bounce back from the pain of missing out on both the Gardiner Conference title and play-offs on the final weekend of last season. Six Brits have been snapped up as the bulk of the home-grown stars he will rely on to back up his import aces.
